MISSION PURPOSE

The mission of the O.B.I Theological Seminary is to provide effectively train Christian Believers for effective ministry and Godly living. This we do by providing an effective training program, together with a supportive study environment.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to present to all who will attend this institution, the word of God in its fullness. Admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present them perfect[mature] in Christ.
​
To equip them to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.
To this end we labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in us.

Christian education is very vital for personal growth and to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ. We therefore believe, that christians should seek the opportunity to be biblically informed, by which we will be transform and bring societal reform.
Bachelor of Theology (BTh)
The Bachelor of Theology (BTh) degree combines a rigorous academic training in Theology with a strong emphasis on theological reflection and ministerial practice. The course aims to enable students to integrate knowledge of biblical, doctrinal, historical and pastoral studies, contributing to their formation for Christian ministry. Students are offered the opportunity to reflect deeply and critically on the role of the minister/ laity in contemporary society, and to acquire key skills for ministry.

The degree structure is flexible and assessment varied, for part-time. The BTh may be completed in 3 years. Assessment of the student development is done in the form of exams and extended essays.
